Pâte à Cake

My friend recommended this bakery and everything was meticulously prepared. We all enjoyed the sesame cake, not too sweet just the way we liked.

This is probably my favorite cake shop in the DMV area. It’s the perfect place for people who prefer their desserts on the less-sweet side. The cakes are not only delicious, but also beautifully presented — they always look so appetizing and pretty. The flavors and textures are just perfect. Since it’s a small store, they rotate their menu often, with many seasonal offerings, which keeps things exciting every time you visit.

A friend brought me here, and they’ve been a repeat customer for a long time. The cream is super fresh, the sweetness of the cake is just right, and even the fruits used in the cake are carefully selected. The strawberries are so fresh and sweet. My favorite is the ocean-themed one—the perfect mix of sweet and savory is absolutely irresistible!

Coffee, seat, service, and parking -everything is great. They also take custom cake orders, so I would definately try their cakes later. I especially love their reusable cup!

I was in the area running a few errands and wanted to grab something new to try; after doing a quick google search I settled on Pâte à Cake. The location was nice and so was the atmosphere; I ordered ahead and my order was ready when I got there; definitely great service. I tried the white chocolate mousse, loved the texture at first but after a few bites it was a bit off putting; I was hoping that there would be some type of fruit or something in the middle to add some variety, sadly there was nothing😕 it had more of a custard taste in my opinion; but it was labeled as just a vanilla mousse cake so I wasn’t too concerned. My husband tried the mango mousse and we thought for sure it would have some actual mango in the middle… but sadly it did not, it was the same texture as the vanilla one
