Putnam's Waterview Restaurant

Great food, I have been here a few times and it never disappoints. I have had sandwiches, specials, chicken tenders, and even some salads. Everything has been good, one time I had a fountain soda taste weird but other than that no complaints. Great location and also pretty quick for pickup meals as well.

Chowder was to runny for me and not hot, otherwise good. Fried seafood platter was great. Great portions of each. Fries were under cooked. I usually only eat a few fries anyway.

I came here with some of my family the other week for an early dinner and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside. Our waitress was very friendly and our food was brought out in a reasonable time. All of our dishes were quite delicious and the desserts were up to par too! I’ve loved coming here over the years and it certainly is a local staple.

I cant really speak to the service or atmosphere, mainly because my husband called in the order for pick up (the phone call sounded friendly enough) and he went to pick up the order alone (so I have no idea what the atmosphere is).... What I CAN say is this: the food, the important part, was inedible. This was our first visit and our last. My daughter and I got the grille (steak tips and chicken), the steak was truly inedible. The chicken, while at least edible, was flavorless and bland. It also had a strange texture around the edges, almost gelatinous. I'm honestly angry and want my money back, it was probably $100 and I had to throw it all out. 100% disappointment.

Putnam's is a great family restaurant. They have outside and inside dining, we chose outside since the weather was beautiful that day. Our server was Mia and she was truly a delight to work with. The food was fantastic and we ordered from the nightly specials. My wife ordered the Taco Supreme Soup and it was rich, creamy and flavorful. I chose the shrimp cocktail and they were huge shrimp. For the dinner my wife chose the Prime Rib Scampi which consists of a slice of prime rib topped with shrimp in a white wine butter sauce. I chose the Italian Combo which consisted of stuffed shells and chicken parmesan over linguini, topped with a homemade marinara sauce. The marinara sauce seemed a little too sweet. I'm not used to that as I don't put sugar in my homemade marinara sauce, but it was stil
