Pupuseria Marina

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share my experience. The restaurant is managed by Marina, the heart and soul of this establishment. She flawlessly captures the essence of Salvadorian cuisine. The authenticity and flavor of the food transported me back to the streets of El Salvador. The pupusas, in particular, were a revelation. Each bite was a perfect harmony of thick, cheesy goodness, a testament to Marina's years of expertise honed in El Salvador. Food is really good. I went there with my friend and I ate some pupusas and they were really good and fresh. We got a lot of food to go and when I got home I ate their fried fish and it was really good. The frijoles are also really good I definitely recommend. They only accept cash. And the restaurant is located in the back of a convenience store very humble. The ladies that work there are super friendly and efficient. The owner also works there she is very sweet and nice.

This place is a hole in the wall inside a small convenience store. The owners are older, wonderful, salvadorian ladies. The food is UN FREAKING REAL!! SOOOO GOOD. Authentic and extremely low priced for how good it is. I went there every day while I was in town for work. Unfortunately this place is not comfortable at all, its small, small tables, uncomfortable chairs, but it is SOOOO worth it. I recommend eating there, but if u r really picky get it to go. Their pork tamales and pupusas mixtas are to die for. Can't wait to be back!! Oh! My coworker and I had lunch their every day for less than $20, between the both of us! Can't beat that anywhere!

Pupusas were so good!!!!! The rice is delicious too! Comfort food served by a family inside of a convenient store. There is a dining area where you can sit and enjoy your food or of course you can take it to go!

Those pupusas are definitely one of the best I’ve tried in Texas. 🤤
