Pupuseria doña bessy

Went for lunch with my husband and daughter unfortunately our experience was terrible. We got charged a transaction of $80 and employees and manager stated that the transaction did NOT go through but or bank stated otherwise . As my husband and I walk to the front the transaction was refunded into our account with us not speaking to the bank . The employee themselves voided the transaction and wasted over an hour of our time . My daughter overheard a conversation when they said they have two machines one to take the order and want to do payments The employee took payment on the wrong machine. And made it seem as if it was our fault Please pay cash or go to the register don’t get your time wasted

Place looked very clean, but I am a little disappointed with the quality of the pupusas. They use artifical cheese, and I know this because the texture of it and it barely melted. Cheese was chunky texture in pupusas shouldnt look like that if its melting properly.

The food doesn’t have flavor. Also, the don’t do the Pupusas how they are supposed to do it, they doesn’t put to much condiment in to. Also they takes the order wrong.

At first, when we came in they ignored us and then asked if it was takeout we said no and it was to eat there. Suddenly they ask us what we wanted and we told them how we wanted one order specifically and I don’t think they are smart because they did exactly the opposite and then we order some torta and they didn’t have ham and they never came to say anything and I was hungry waiting for Almost 30 mins and the girl keep walking without asking or looking at the table . And I don’t like putting bad reviews but bro they prefer to serve other people than you and they get mad if u complain or ask for stuff like what???🧍🏻‍♀️

Don't let the 3 stars fool you! I'm glad I ignored it for being my 1st visit because I ordered 3 pork and cheese pupusas and a meal that had 3 pieces of grilled chicken breast tenders,it also came with beef short ribs with a steak as well,red beans and rice was potential,the grilled jalapeño was delicious, everything was delicious and lots of food! The cabbage for the pupusa was WOW with a little kick! They speak a little English so I just pointed out on the menu what I wanted. Highly recommend this restaurant for a very tasty meal,I'll definitely be back!
