PUPULE HAWAIIAN BBQ

The food was amazing. What really got me was that the customer service was outstanding, the food is authentic, no microwave used at all. The beef was delicious, the macaroni was perfect, the rice was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet yet it smelled delicious with all the different smells. The service altogether was amazing, I definitely recommend this place, you can't get Hawaiian food like this anywhere. And it was worth every bite

WOW! We have lived here for 4 years and this was the BEST meal we have ever had in JC! Maybe even Manhattan too! I forgot to take a photo before plating but it was absolutely phenomenal. I got the Big Kahuna combo and my husband got the chicken katsu. We also got an order of lumpia and an extra side of Mac salad. We were blown away! Every single item was the best we’ve ever had. The katsu and lumpia had the perfect crunch. The sauces were incredible and all the meat was perfectly cooked! We will definitely be regulars! The staff inside were extremely kind and the music was bangin’. Thank you guys so much!

Family owned and operated, our orders were taken by the owners polite 12 year old son, and we were served by the Hawaiian-born owner herself. The food was tasty, hot and freshly made. Located in the building that used to house Pusan’s Korean restaurant….the decor hasn’t changed much, but it’s cleaner with Hawaiian music playing. Sadly, the Musubi is only available on Tuesday’s. The cooler case with drinks did not have any Diet versions beside water. The Mac salad just needed a tad more salt. The service was friendly. We will be back!

Really tasty! Really fresh. Pupu Lunch Platter w pork and chicken was rad. Mac salad was good. Lil por egg rolls [lumpia] were really flavorful too. Ask for BBQ Sauce that comes w the Katsu 😎
