Agave Mex Food

I have been meeting friends here for lunch since they opened. The street tacos, are my personal favorite and today had the churros. 😋 The staff is amazing and provides excellent service which is important to me. A big shoutout to the staff for their kindness in staying longer than usual and snapping a photo of our group on multiple occasions. 👏

OMGosh!!! This place makes me no longer miss the Mexican food from home. I was born, raised and bred in Austin, TX so Authentic Mexican food is a staple there. I love this place. Since it opened I’ve been trying to get around to try everything. I’ve had the street tacos, the Quesadillas, Tamales… All are amazing. BUT YESTERDAY… I ordered the Chimichangas…. And WOOOOOOOOW!!!! First and foremost the portion was perfect because it comes with beans, rice and fixings to go with, the dish is pleasing to the eye, and it smelled so good I wanted to sit down and eat but I had a family at home waiting for their food too 🤣 So I came home and cut into the Chimichanga and took a bite, closed my eyes to savor it. Came to visit our son at Ft Riley. Came to Agave, food was good. My wife had Lindos special & I has Al Pastor tacos. Their extra hot sauce is pretty hot, must be habanero. Also had a Modelo beer. They have a bar available with liquor drinks. Atmosphere is nice & clean, food is reasonably priced.

Food was sooo delicious! Our server was really nice and the food came out fast. My dad got the steak fajita and I had the veggie fajita- they were both really yummy! Our server was really nice and they made my meal vegan for me! Would def recommend this place. I’m so glad they had vegetarian/ vegan options for me.

The service was exceptional! Kindness and smiles! The person who sat us even asked if the temperature was okay in the building for us, that was so thoughtful!! The food was amazing and was served to us very quickly!!! Chips were warm and fresh! Salsa had good flavor. The birria was flavorful as well as the chimichangas!
