PUNTO CRIOLLO

This is the best Venezuelan spot in Coral Gables. Nothing comes close. The empanadas are magnificent and everything else is delicious as well. Jose and Andres always provide wonderful service!

Punto Criollo in Coral Gables is a must-visit if you're craving authentic Venezuelan food! I had the carne mechada with rice, black beans, and cheese - everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The beef was tender, the beans rich, and the cheese tied it all together. The tequeños were golden and cheesy - seriously addictive! I also had a papelón con limón, which was super refreshing and balanced the meal beautifully. The vibe is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely visit again soon.

This place is a hidden Gem! Loved the food. The soup had lots of beef and a variety of vegetables. The prices were perfect. Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

The food was great, but the service was very disappointing, from our server to the woman who charged us. We weren’t even shown our bill; we were simply asked to pay, and we were charged for extra empanadas that we never received. This is Miami, where there are countless great places to eat, and we chose your restaurant. Please work on improving your customer service.

Great spot behind Miracle Mile. This was my first time come for lunch and they have a great lunch special. The pasticho was INSANELY delicious. The sopa de auyama was also very good. Service was quick and the waiters were very friendly and welcoming. Very casual ambiance. Will definitely be back!!
