As Texans who take our Mexican food very seriously, walking into Puerto Vallarta had us curious… and let me tell you, they delivered! We ordered the carne asada burrito, and wow — this thing could make a Texan nod in approval. Tender, flavorful steak wrapped up in a burrito that felt like a warm hug from south of the border. The queso was exactly what queso should be: cheesy, melty, and dangerously addictive. (You know it’s good when you start calculating how socially acceptable it is to lick the bowl.) And the street corn? Absolute flavor bomb. Smoky, creamy, a little tangy — basically everything that makes elote one of life’s greatest inventions. For a couple folks who moved up from Texas and miss our Mexican food scene, Puerto Vallarta definitely scratched that itch. Great flavors, fun

My family and I visited this restaurant last Saturday to celebrate my 25th birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I called the same day hoping to make a reservation, and they somehow managed to accommodate our large party of 16 adults and 4 kids on a busy Saturday night—already impressive. The service was outstanding. Our waitress—whose name I sadly can’t remember (mentioned she was from the Dominican Republic) -was truly phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and made our entire table feel so well taken care of. She was such a sweetheart. The food was absolutely delicious. This review is based on takeout. I ordered the fried red snapper, and omg, it’s perfection. The fish was huge and perfectly crispy. The white rice and salad that came with it were good as well. Service was quick, and the fish was ready in 20 minutes after placing the order. I can’t wait to order this again! For the food and value, it’s 5 stars!

Staff was absolutely amazing. Our server, Jocelyn was extremely professional, awesome service done by her. Everyone was friendly and our service was very fast. Very clean atmosphere. The vibe was great.

Food was fantastic! Different menu than in the past but quite tasty 😋 our waiter George was wonderful! He is also the bartender. Very knowledgeable and friendly young man. Would recommend the pico. Very fresh. Also very fast service and George was very attentive. Could not ask for more.
