Customer Reviews
The Prospect Heights Library is a beautiful and welcoming place. The staff is lovely and always genuinely happy to help. They offer wonderful programs for all ages. At this stage of my life, it has become a space for learning and reflection. Last Wednesday’s cooking class with Chef Susana was fantastic
I needed a place to catch a meeting and stopped in here. The cafe area is spacious. Overall, the library is clean, friendly staff. Not the most quiet place but I'm sure they have study rooms for that. Parking available too.
We came in to take care of our passport application, and our experience with Angelica was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, patient, and very organized. She walked us through everything clearly and made the whole process feel effortless. Her professionalism and kindness truly stand out. We're grateful for the wonderful service and appreciate the great work being done at the Prospect Heights Public Library District.
Felt like reading today, so I walked into the library and asked the person at the front for help. He pointed me to someone else off to my left. I asked her about The Next Conversation by Jefferson Fisher, and she said she was busy but I could look it up in the catalogue. I told her I’d wait, so she checked and said it was checked out. As I’m wandering around looking for something else, I glance to my left and boom there’s the book, sitting right on the shelf. No clue why they said it was checked out when it was literally right there.
Can't comment on the library, I went for the passport service. I had always done passport stuff at the USPS and it was always a nightmare of bad service and long wait times. Never again! At the Prospect Heights library no reservation required, was a bit early (library opened at 9, passports start at 10) and first in line. Very kind woman helped correct an error on my application, and processed me though at warp speed while perfectly explaining each step and what to expect. I dont name names, but I give the woman who assisted us and the overall experience my rarely offered "sixth star." Wow.
