Have eaten here multiple times, the last being a week ago. Service and food are both casually understated and yet excellent. Crab cakes, lamb chops, and haddock, all well prepared and presented (and mostly eaten in the photo). Previously had the duck, rack of lamb, and salmon, outside on the patio. Large menu for the restaurant size, with multiple dishes we could have ordered just as well. Reasonably priced. Very nice wine list and desserts--tiramisu, creme boule, pecan pie, all good. Comfortable surroundings and central location in Cary. Recommended.

My husband made reservations for our anniversary. We were greeted at the door, taken straight to a table and given service quickly. The food was amazing, the service spectacular, and the environment wonderful. It was a very relaxing environment.

LOVED this place! Stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday and the service was quick and so friendly. The menu options were incredible and we loved everything we ordered: caprese as a starter, porchetta and crepe (with mushrooms and spinach) for main course. The caprese was insanely good and if I had any small critique it would be that it could have used more basil (yet was still terrific as served). I loved the porchetta - this was a different cut and prep of pork than I’m used to and with the chimchurri sauce it was delicious. My wife enjoyed the crepe, though I found the combo of Brie and spinach to be a bit strong for my liking (just a preference thing). On the whole, there were so many other things on the menu that we’d like to try (especially the sandwiches that they stop serving

I had escargot. It was delicious and buttery. However it can be a bit difficult to get the snail meat out of the shell. The tongs they provide don’t hold the shell tightly and I kept wanting to squeeze the tongs to make the grip tighter but the way they are designed that causes them to loosen their grip on the slippery buttery shell. Do not order if you have any manual dexterity issues or arthritis in your hands. The chicken cordon blue was extra crispy. There were two fillets. The cream sauce was good but I would have liked an actual slice of melted cheese on the fillets and prosciutto. There was a generous portion of large carrot pieces that I think were cooked with tarragon. The menu mentioned spinach and there was some but nothing significant as you can tell by the photo.

Overall Score: 4.1/10 – A well-kept restaurant with good service and a unique menu, but the high prices and underwhelming food left the experience lacking. Atmosphere and Service: 6.2/10 – The restaurant looks nice, with clean surroundings and solid outdoor seating. The staff appeared professional, and the waitress stood out in a positive way—presenting specials with energy and acting like a true server rather than just taking orders. The menu strayed from typical Italian offerings, which was a nice touch. Alfredo Tortellini with Chicken: 3.2/10 – At $28, this dish needed to impress and didn’t deliver. While the tortellini appeared homemade and high quality, it lacked flavor. The Alfredo sauce was extremely light and nearly tasteless, and the chicken, though fresh, included pieces that d
