Prohibition Kitchen at St. Johnsbury Distillery

So the Food took 90 minutes to come, the waitress was very nice and discounted us for the insane wait, the food was ok. The smash burgers were tiny, there weren't several ingredients like the blackened onions, the hash is totally not hash, honestly, the environment is really nice and the service is friendly but the food is super mediocre. We both got the hangover special because we love hamburgers and is wasn't worth it at all.

Great Gastropub pub / speak easy style restaurant with great decor and vibe. Large selection of hard liquor and spitits from distillery, with a great bar tender slinging out fantastic cocktails. Good selection of beers and wines available as well. The menu is impressive and everything looked great. All our dishes we well prepared and great flavor. The jalapeno poppers and the ghost pepper buffalo chicken wings were delicious appetizers.

Cool decor, warm and welcoming vibe. Food is ok but gotta give them praise for thinking of us vegans! They have a few options but they are just ok. We didn’t get the leeks we were promised. Feels like New England is just now trying to figure out vegan food like 10 years ago everywhere else but they are at least trying so that’s good.

We needed a quick bite on our way for a ski weekend, perfect for our family of adults and teens, though the atmosphere had a nice sate night feel to it. Service was attentive and fast. Food was upscale pub food, exactly what we needed after 5 hours in the car. Solid wings with their delicious 50/50 sauce. Robust salad with steak tips and well balanced balsamic dressing. Chocolate cake and glass of Nebbiolo to round out the night and we were on our way. Would definitely stop again, either with family or as a couple!

What a great place. We have been meaning to stop and try this place. We had an app and a quick drink while walking around town. Stuffed mushrooms were amazing. I bought a bottle of Brendan's Spiced Rum after ordering a drink. The Spiced Rum was one of the best I've ever tasted. Very good job, great place to have a drink and food. Next time we will make time to get dinner!
