Prince George Family BBQ

1 plate 2 drinks $42 before tip. Stopped for a quick lunch after driving half the day. Split the BBQ combo with my wife and we also had 2 drinks. $42 is crazy! Really, you gave us a plate sharing charge? You're a BBQ restraunt... BBQ is meant to be shared!!! Please do better guys.

This meal was flavorless, for $50 i could've went to costco and got better. The pulled pork was dry, with a hint oh smokiness, definitely came out of a package. The brisket was that stuff from Walmart. The bbq chicken definitely came out of a bag and into a pot, then the sauce was thrown on top. The greens came out of a can. The Mac n cheese was box Mac n cheese no extras. The potato salad was had no seasoning (the best part of the meal). The fried okra came out of a frozen bag w/ no seasoning. The hush puppies were like biting into a playdough ball.

The waitress was polite... I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries and fried pickles appetizer. Not only was the fries pickle appetizer horrible.... but that was the worst brisket I've ever tasted. It was rubbery & hard like an old tire and had no flavor at all. It makes me wonder how some places can stay in business so long with so little effort put into the foods that they make 🤮

The barbecue chicken is the bomb. It is great the ribs not so much I would not order the ribs at all. My recommendations stick with the barbecue chicken, but not the pork! The pork was too smoked with, of course, added barbecue sauce that didn’t even marinate in the pork ribs . So you got the teeth of smoked turkey rather than true pork I will never come and order the pork with chicken was great. The sides were great as well. I had almost all the sides and they were awesomely made with love the cake with me with love as well again I just wouldn’t order the pork ever again too bad I couldn’t go back and complain cause I took it out.

We had a party of 9. Our large party was easily accommodated. Fortunately they weren't too busy. Business picked up later. Service was excellent! The young lady met and anticipated our every need. I'm sorry i dont remember her name. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the pork platter. Very generous portions and everything was very good. The baked beans had chunks of green peppers, it gave them extra flavor. The cole slaw complimented the pork very well. It was a very satisfying meal!
