Prime Steakhouse

We recently had our 17 year anniversary dinner at Prime. It was PHENOMENAL!! Let me first start with how it all went down. Initially I chose a different restaurant that had just opened in the area. It was a bit of a hush hush opening, and the menu was not posted right away. Turns out, it was not what we were looking for, so I sought elsewhere. We have been to Prime a total of 4 times since opening. For us, we always had a good experience, with the most recent before last, fantastic. We walked in with no reservations on a weekend. This last visit, blew us away! I did want to try a new place, or have a different dining experience than usual, so I thought giving Prime's 'TRUST US' option sounded right up our alley, but at the same time, we were nervous to receive something we did not care muc

The food was delicious. The tomahawk steak was not great for the price but good… highly recommend the Filet mignon, what aged ribeye truffle fries, and the artichoke dip. The waitressing staff was amazing. Thank you for a great experience.

We arrived on Valentine’s Day Eve. We had made reservations for 14 adults and 6 teenage children. We were seated right away and the first four in the door had a drink brought to them right away. As the rest of the group showed up, our server was no where to be found. Our group waited about 25 minutes and no one came around to ask if we would like water, mixed drinks or soda. Finally a couple of people got up to go place an order at the bar. They were turned back to our table as “ordering at the bar will confuse your server and back up the bartender.” We went back to the table and the server had finally arrived and began taking drink orders. Drinks finally came out about 15-20 minutes later. That would be the last time anyone came around and asked for drink refills until after we were almo

We were really excited to try this place while visiting Morris for a week, it had great reviews and we really wanted a nice date night with our little girl. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t good. We got there and we received the appetizer first, personally I did not like but my husband loved. Then we ordered entrees , I got the salmon and he ordered a steak and our daughter got Mac and cheese, we waited close to an hour and our waitress finally brought out the steak and Mac and cheese and said they kept over cooking the salmon and had to remake it. My daughter Mac and cheese was not hot and wash hardened from sitting and waiting too long and so was my husband steak, it tasted dry, and cold and the sauce on the plate was hardened on the plate from sitting so long, he didn’t even want to

Most people wouldn’t call Morris , Minnesota a destination city , but if you are in town , you should consider trying Prime Steakhouse . It was a great way to end the evening on a long day. Bonus points that the hotel gave us free drink tickets ! Highly recommend, I had the dry aged rib eye with mashed potatoes and Gouda Mac and cheese ! 🤤
