Pressed Coffee & Books

Pressed is absolutely incredible! I am there 4-5 days a week as it is my go to spot for authentic, tasty coffee. From the lattes, drip coffee, crepes… I have yet to find something I don’t like on this menu. The baristas are fun and very talkative! I look forward to coming into Pressed every time to chat with the baristas and when Abby (owner) is there, we always have a great chat! If you haven’t been here yet, I’m not sure what you’re waiting for. They’re the best!

Such a cute place! Found a cozy corner by the window and worked while enjoying coffee and crepes. It's a very welcoming, friendly, and casual environment. The staff are super sweet too!

17DEC2025 Update: Today I discovered Cortado. So good… maybe even better without the steamed cream… we’ll see with this second cup : ) I can breathe here… and for those who know me, that’s a big thing for me. :bow: 10DEC2025 Update: The vibe in here is even better than four years ago, when last I made the opportunity to visit and sample the… the atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong, Abby’s Coaltown coffee is magnificent, but the feel of this brilliantly intended, shared business is unique in my experience. OP SEP2021’ish Come… Have some coffee… Check out the $5 books… and harmonize for awhile.

My family and I stopped in here during a recent trip to Pottsville and had zero complaints! A great spot for locals or tourists full of books to explore for adults and children and of course, great coffee and food. I had a cold when I was there so I opted for a turmeric latte with oat milk instead of caffeine and it was spot on. I love when cafes have healthy alternatives to coffee. My family who had the coffee enjoyed it. My sandwich was delicious too and on a homemade sourdough english muffin! Homemade syrups are another plus. It was also vegan friendly! The staff was very kind as well and the atmosphere was cozy.

I pop in here once or twice a week. Coffee is great, lattes are great. All of the crepes are great. Especially the goat cheese, chicken and spinach. Probably my favorite spot in Pottsville.
