Pratt-Taber Inn

As a fellow bed and breakfast owner, I can’t help but admire what you’ve created at Pratt‑Taber Inn. The elegant historic home, cozy guest rooms with private baths, and warm, welcoming atmosphere make it a truly special stay. Wonderful job!

Four of us stayed one night and everything about our stay was fabulous. Deb and Ron are delightful hosts, enjoyed a glass of wine with them while learning about their beautiful historic house. Coming home in the evening to some fresh popcorn was an added treat. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast before the ladies went shopping and the men went golfing. Thank you Ron for arranging discounted golf at the beautiful Red Wing Golf Course. We will be back!

Super cute historic home with tons of charm. Deb was the most gracious host and made the absolute best breakfast ever! Stayed in the Summer room, which was so lovely and very quiet at night. Comfy bed, cute claw-foot tub in the bathroom, and even the original wallpaper from the 1860s! Lovely spot, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Red Wing. :)

My husband and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary and enjoyed our stay at the Pratt-Taber Inn very much. Deb and Ron were very welcoming and kind. The Inn is beautiful. Our room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the area and the Breakfast was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had never been to a B & B before and didn't know what to expect, so for us, this was a bit of an adventure. I'm happy to say that it was nothing but a good one. Deb and Ron were wonderful hosts, greeting us at the door when we arrived and providing us with cold drinks right away. They were also very helpful in helping us choose a place to eat nearby, as we had never been to Red Wing before. Our (Spring) room was lovely, quite comfortable, and very clean. The house really showed all the love and hard work that had been poured into it, with Deb heading up a renovation that would have been as much an act of faith as anything, restoring the house from a wreck to what it was meant to be (and then some).
