Coffee, Wine, Books, Pastries, Trinkets, Gifts, a couple of vintage motorcycles, and “Turtle Bars.” Today’s free sample at the counter. This is an attractive coffee shop in an equally attractive historical building with a cool name. The building is dated 1915 with a large marquee denoting its heritage to Kunkler family. The business bears a unique name, “Prairie Witch.” What is that all about? The book? The lady working this morning seemed nice enough. Colorful book spines paint the tall walls, from floor to the antique tin ceiling tiles. Comfortable furniture for lounging, tables and chairs for dining. Up front barstools along the big windows are perfect for soaking in the sun, reading, or just watching Okmulgee life passing by on the main drag, 6th street. An Americano with cream for me
Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. I took my Granddaughter for a cooking decorating class. The owner Ms. Snow was the one giving the class. She was so kind and patient with the kids. We went back the next day for a bagel,Frappe and charcuterie...they were all delicious. My Granddaughter made a Christmas Ornament while there as well. Lovely place..go check it out
This place is a hidden gem!! I've driven past it so many times not knowing what it was and I'm so glad I stopped. The barista was super sweet and definitely knows what she's doing with coffee. 10/10 will be returning.
Love the books, love the coffee, love the staff. My sister and I come here whenever we can, her for the kids books and I for the old books. They really have a great selection, especially if you have time to peruse.
Service was very nice but the iced coffee tastes like a watered down iced coffee I could make at home. And they had a bunch of their kids which is fine but when I when I was waiting for the bathroom the one out dark hair and glasses came out and there was pee ALL OVER the toilet. Thankfully there were Clorox wipes in the bathroom. If you’re gonna have your kids at work teach them how to act and clean after themselves please
