Okmulgee Public Library

The Librarians are kind and helpful. The Library is always clean, tidy and quiet for reading and study. It’s one of my favorite places to be.

As a kid I rember this library being awesome! Today as an adult went back in with my son and it is great still.

Absolutely the best library in the area. You feel like the staff are family after a while. Great selection of books! If they don't have what you need, they can reserve it for you or borrow it from another library. Study areas are amazing. The library is always clean and silent.

Saddened by the lack of compassion from the librarians during a tornado warning. A tornado was heading toward our town, and they said they would close at 6 PM no matter what, and everybody would have to leave. We left and ended up getting hit by horrible hail, wind, and rain. Where is the community spirit, or even simple humanity.

Limiting patrons to one hour and only 10 at a time. Restrooms are locked, water fountains are turned off. Sneeze guards are up. Plenty of hand sanitizer. They're being conscientious
