Customer Reviews
Excellent location, right off of I-70, great price, and easy to find with clear directions, well lit and spacious parking, plus clear access instructions. Time and thought was put into the decor and furniture; eclectic not kitschy. We appreciated the reclaimed space and furnishings along with attention to detail and comfort. The entry has a digital code for after hours with a cozy sitting area past the entry and leads into Rosie's Bar & Grill or to the right & left wings where the rooms are located. Each room has digital keypad entry and they are themed after Kansas ghost towns. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of lighting options with amenities like a small refrigerator and tv with great streaming options. Plenty of towels, including a makeup face cloth, soap/shampoo/
Cracker Barrel meets Texas Roadhouse with Midwest charm! Props to the local owners to dream big and offer the world a fine hotel/ restaurant/ campground/ gathering space. I imagine their back patio with live music is the place to be! My (larger) family appreciated lodging options of three queen beds to a room (the “Coyote” room)—refreshing in a world of chain hotels that best serve families of four. The feel after staying in a place where all employees are very invested in what they offer…..priceless.
This was a cute little inn- especially if you like antiques and rustic. We spent from Christmas Eve (Wednesday) through Friday night here. Christmas Day there was no restaurant or food readily available- except at the gas station. The Prairie Rose Inn did leave some cookies and scones available for breakfast along with coffee and hot cocoa. The room we had (#1 -Cyrus) was a lot smaller than we had anticipated so next time we will chose a larger room. They do have a washer and dryer available to use and it looked like it was free. The bed was very comfortable but this room only had one chair and it was almost too small for me. The larger rooms with a king bed or double queens actually had sitting rooms with couches and/or recliners. The Inn had an attached restaurant for other mornings for
Super cute, clean, and fun little place, easily accessible from the interstate. Loved Rosie’s Bar & Grill - service was fantastic and the food was great. I can’t say for sure, but looked like it’s a local hangout too. I didn’t get to stay for breakfast, but the word is you should make time. Check-in/out is perfect for travelers.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the prairie rose inn on our way to Colorado! Our room was cozy and clean, the restaurant and bar was excellent, and the breakfast and coffee was great aswell. The staff was friendly and even checked to make sure they could make a gluten-free dish for me. We also enjoyed the firepit!
