The food looks really pretty, and the environment is cozy like you’re at somebody’s house, but I felt the disposable plastic utensils, disposable paper cups, and paper towel napkins really killed the vibe. If you have this whole cottage vibe, and the food gets served on cute china plates, just go all in and make it a nice experience.

This place was incredible! I wish I lived closer - and I would consider relocating to Crystal Lake if it meant I can come here often. I got the croque monsieur and unsweeted butterfly mint tea. It was a delightful lunch and finished my sandwich very fast! I had to then make another purchase because I needed more of their delicious food in my life! I then took the Indian chicken curry pie home for dinner. It came with instructions how to heat it up at home… and it was perfect. The ladies at the counter were so helpful and kind when I asked for suggestions too!

This is a fantastic spot. If you’re looking for something sweet or savory, Pots and Pies has you covered. Even if you’re looking for just a great coffee to start your day. You’re always greeted with a smile. This place has become a weekend staple in our home.

Great service, always love chatting when I stop in. Ingredients are always fresh and the Turkey Gobbler is the best sandwich to ever exist.

OMG - the best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! I am not generally a fan of pie pastry, but their’s is fantastic! It has a spice baked into it that’s delicious and it is flaky and a perfect vessel for the creamy chicken filling.
