Crystal Lake Public Library

Horrible service I just called listened to all the options so I pressed 7 for adult services, no answer, no VM. Called back pressed 0 got a person asked her if you had a room with a computer to do a zoom, she said I don't know, put me on hold and then the phone rang several times no answer. I guess answering the phones and a simple question is so hard for you people. Then I tried a 3rd time, told the lady what I am trying to find out she puts me on hold comes back and says someone will call you back, I asked her if she worked there and she said no. Interesting. So who is answering their phones.

Always willing to assist with needs. If unable to provide, they offer resource ideas in the area. Still trying to stump them :->

Absolutely a CL treasure! All the staff are great- always ready to help anyone with a smile! **new faces abound but the same level of joy and community is shared with all patrons! A very welcoming inclusive service, well de serving of a larger, updated facility.

This was my first ever visit to this library, and one thing that I can say is I wish I had come sooner. I had come with some students, so I really only saw the children's section, but the vast amount of books and activities (ranging from mini golf to arts and crafts) was lots of fun. The staff was also extremely friendly and helped with any question we had while on the trip. I'm hoping to one day make it back here with them again in the future.

I loveeee this library. It has a great selection of books, and also is a great place to study or do homework. It is easy to navigate, and i love their summer reading program! I’ve also been a volunteer there for the summer and it was a great experience. Love this library!
