Portside Fish & Chips

The fish came out fast and VERY FRESH (Hot) The size of fish was AWESOME!!! I ordered fried mushrooms and they were DELICIOUS as well as FISH😋 My son had Curly Fries with his fish which were also DELICIOUS 🤤 I almost ate them up from him. The 2 piece was so big that we had to take some home with us..!

Great tasting food, hot and fresh, and a fun atmosphere!!! Probably the best tasting fried mushrooms I've ever had. We have been here twice so far, and had a great experience each time. Friendly employees that engage in a conversation rather than pretend they are listening. I love the inspirational notes that they write on their bags. Definitely worth checking out.

The fish and chips were great. I received two nice large tasty pieces of hot fish with plenty of tartar sauce and lemon slices to accompany them. The twisted chips were very good as well- kind of a spiraling potato wedge. Very delicious. The clam chowder was also good, thick enough to stand a spoon up in as demonstrated in the photo below. The staff were friendly. Both the girl working at the counter and the cook came out to check if we were happy with our food (which we were). Would definitely recommend this place and I will absolutely be returning.

Some local people recommended this restaurant as having excellent fish and chips. I'm not sure what they are accustomed to but for us, the fish was tasteless and the chips (fries) were bland. Even the vinegar was tasteless. It's serve yourself, which we don't mind as long as the food is good. Very disappointed.

Absolutely loved the food and the owner. We had the fish and chips, chicken strips for the kiddo. The oil was fresh, the fish was tender and the "big" fries were too good and we ate too many. Will be back.
