Jacks Donuts

This is my donut and coffee stop on my morning walking route. Great little place. Friendly. Quick and efficient service. They also have espresso coffees and breakfast sandwiches. Before I retired, I used to stop here for crew donuts to take to work.

All hail to Jack's Donuts! Frier of dough completely unrivalled in the known universe. I would like to think that as a connoisseur of fine pastries, I could offer a more balanced critique. In this case...I can't. No denying this is simply the best doughnut every consumed by man. Very reasonably priced... especially for California if I may say so. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Go grab one tomorrow morning first thing at 5:30a...no seriously, set your alarm right now.

Best donuts around. The apple fritter is to die for. I could eat a whole tray of them. They are ethnic so there could be a little communications barrier but point to the item and say how many, your good to go. Prices are very reasonable

First let me say that we have always been a loyal family of Jack's ..Their donuts were always delicious and they never skimped on the fillings. However, some of us are Apple Fritter people and today my husband bought 4 of them to the tune of $13.20 so ya, not cheap by any means! Boy were we let down.. they were greasy and sugary but as far as any flavor- not so much! There was only a few teeny, tiny pieces of apple and believe me I looked hard to figure out why they were so flavorless! Hardly any spice either. An expensive fried, blob of dough with a sugar glaze! I called to let them know and her answer was "Oh" - so definitely not the response I was hoping for!
