Portofino Italian Restaurant

Very relaxed Italian restaurant. We were served bread, oil, and cheese upon seating -- the bread and oil was fantastic, best we've had, so we actually asked for a second round! We both got Caesar salads and Chicken Parmesan with the homemade Pappardelle pasta. Everything was amazing, make sure you get the Pappardelle! For dessert we got the Coppa Spagnola and Coppa Pistachio, and my wife hasn't stopped raving about it. We'll definitely be adding this place to our rotation!

Bread, oil, and cheese were complimentary. We asked for a refill and got it immediately upon request. Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked. Cesarean salad was very fresh, and Bolognais with angel hair pasta was delicious and sizeable. The wife had chicken Marsala, and it was flavorful and large. Waitstaff was attentive and pleasant.

We had a table of 12, and our server handled it with absolute ease and grace. She kept everything running smoothly—drinks topped off, orders perfect, and every guest feeling taken care of. Managing a group that size is no small task, yet she made it look effortless. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service truly exceptional. We also love Portofino’s for their wonderful Thursday nights outside on the patio in the summer with karaoke. OMG!! So much fun. We wanted a nice Italian lunch after shopping at the Merrimack Outlets. Portofino’s did not disappoint. The food and the martinis were delicious! Great service and atmosphere! This will be our go to place after outlet shopping.

Worse food in the world. Looks like they just added water to the pasta, no flavor at all. My husband ate it because he was hungry, I only ate the chicken. AWFULL.
