Portillo's Tucson

I had such an amazing experience at Portillo's! I tried the cheeseburger with small fries and a small drink, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot. The restaurant itself is so cute, it gives off a classic diner vibe with a cozy,, homey feel. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone working there was incredibly sweet and helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting Sahar, who was very polite and took the time to walk me through the menu. She encouraged me to try dessert (best suggestion ever), and I ended up getting the strawberry shortcake and the chocolate cake. Both were AMAZING, seriously the best choice. We had excellent service two times with an online catering order. It was prepared on time, well packaged, fully supplemented with condiments, extras and supplies. The food was tasty. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant is large, clean, well lit, nicely decorated, and safe. There is a drive thru option. Plenty of free parking near the restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great taste of Chicago in Tucson.

What a special place! My wife and I love going here. The atmosphere is amazing, as is the food! Chicago dogs are better than Sonoran dogs😤 The workers are very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Misters in the summer mean you can sit outside (although the inside is much more fun!

Whose bright idea was it to put macaroni in a chopped salad? I am gluten free and when the server was asked about gluten, she had no clue. Good thing I am not celiac and saw the macaroni before putting dressing on, otherwise this might be a different conversation.

My daughter in law and I stopped in for lunch. The food is always incredible, the whole place was clean and tidy, and employees were very friendly. The Italian beef and cheese on Croissant was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Prices are absolutely affordable! Skip the fast food joints and run to Portillo's for a healthier choice. Your palette will thank you!
