Portillo's Elk Grove Village

Portillo’s is always a fun and satisfying stop, especially if you’re craving classic Chicago-style comfort food. The menu has a huge variety, but everything is done with consistency and strong flavors. The Italian beef is juicy and well seasoned, the fries are hot and crispy, and the milkshakes are thick and rich, just the way you expect. The atmosphere has that retro diner vibe that makes the visit feel lively without being overwhelming. Even when the place is busy, the line moves quickly and orders come out fast. The dining area stays clean and organized, which makes it easy to sit down and enjoy your meal. Overall, Portillo’s delivers reliable food, big portions, and a fun experience that never gets old.

Portillo hot dog specifically the Maxwell street Polish Dog are my go to treat in Chicago. This location is one of the full service locations with sit down capabilities and ample tables to enjoy it all. The Chicago Style Hot dog is also spectacular everywhere on the menu is calorie rich with great tasting delights it’s my favorite cheat meal .

Delicious tasting food, cooked to order. My family and I usually get the hot dogs or the char broiled burgers along with some crinkle cut cheese fries, so I highly recommend those. The staff is always great, polite and very attentive. I would like to send a shoutout to GM Stefan for making my most recent experience a great one. He most definitely goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.

Stopped here for lunch before dropping off family at the airport. Everyone in our group orders Italian beefs with sweet peppers and Chicago style hot dogs. Everyone’s long time favorites. The chocolate cake shake is so gross but so good. Restaurant is clean and decorative. Bathrooms were very clean and updated. Service used to be more personable
