DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was delighted to come here the first time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the drinks were a reasonable price and the bartender was incredibly accommodating. I chose to come back since this place had great hospitality only to my surprise it was not only unwelcoming but swindling me out of my money. I arrived at this establishment at night and sat myself down at the bar. Only after four drinks side the bartender cut me off for the night. As a veteran and student I felt disheartened as just the other week after finding some free time between class and other obligations did this establishment feel so welcoming. Not only was I cut off after 4 drinks after a long day but once the bill came I noticed they uncharged me for the SAME DRINK I had just a week prior. Sitting
This was a great pub. Very cozy and welcoming right from the start. Our primary bartender was smiles and hellos from the moment you walk in the door. We had some amazing food and drinks while visiting this wonderful establishment. I know without a doubt that this is on our list of favorites while in Boston.
Came twice, once for brunch and once on a friday night. Cute interior, very friendly employees. I don't go to bars often so I'm not used to the hybrid style of restaurant-style menu and food that you order at the bar. Food: great benedict and cheeseburger. At night, I LOVED the way the fries taste in the spice bag and the curry dip. The margerita pizza was more of a home style (as in you could make it at home). The sticky toffee pudding!!!!!! I must come back to sample the rest of the menu.
We drove almost 25 minutes because Google Maps showed this place as open. When we arrived, they said there was a staff appreciation party and no service. that was understandable. What was not okay was refusing to let our female friend use the restroom during bad weather. A blonde woman with a glass blocked her and said no. This was unprofessional, lacking basic courtesy, and very disappointing from a place I’ve always liked.
I tried the Korean fried cauliflower, bacon cheeseburger egg rolls, ribeye steak tacos, and fish tacos. Food: The Korean fried cauliflower was delicious, fried with a sweet garlic soy sauce, served with some mild gochujang sauce on the side. If you're looking for something healthy or spicy, this probably won't be right for you. The bacon cheeseburger egg rolls order includes two rolls, each cut in half. It comes with comeback sauce on the side, which tasted like ketchup, mayo, and maybe a few other ingredients mixed together. The skin of the rolls had a nice light crisp. The rolls were absolutely delicious, at the cost of consuming a lot of grease. The tacos had generous portions of protein in them, but they weren't standouts to me. The tacos are made with cold soft flour shells, which
