You're gonna Love this place, Portage Bakery ❤️ Fresh hand made Italian bread just like the old country, the people are so friendly, the service excellent and the product out of this world, there is so much in this little downtown shop, you're gonna Love touring it. This is Niagara's Best Kept Secret, I'm not even sure I want to share it with you. a must visit everytime I travel to Niagara Falls 🇨🇦, you have to try the hand made bread first thing out of the oven... ❤️

Our first visit. It was a nice surprise(the outside wasn't impressive). Came to check out the pastries but before leaving with our treasures, decided to have a bite for lunch. It was all good. The staff where terrific. It can get busy at checkout but the staff did a good job of moving people along.

This place has been my family's go-to bakery since I was a kid, and it’s still just as awesome as it was then. 🥖✨ The staff? Absolute gems. Always kind, always cheerful, even today when it was SUPER busy and the line-up was all the way down the counter. And honestly? Totally worth the wait. That Italian bread was so fresh I could’ve eaten the whole loaf before I got to the car. No regrets. I popped in (as I always do!) for the seasonal goodies — Valentine’s cookies, homemade flakies for a birthday celebration, ravioli, sauce, and of course a few “extras” that somehow jumped into my basket. Some of my forever favourites: Olive bread, Cranberry orange bread, Raisin bread, Bakery pizza, Lasagna, Hot olives, Nanaimo bars, Lemon squares.. I have never been disappointed. Not once. And don

This Italian bakery is the best bakery in Niagara Falls. I am Italian and won't go anywhere else to purchase my bread because there is no other bakery that can compete with the freshness and taste of what they make here. The pastries are typical Italian and they have so many delicious products from Italy. We have been customers since it first opened and, yes, I have tried bread and pastries at other bakeries in this city but nothing compares to Portage Bakery. The service is also excellent at this place and staff can't do enough to help with your purchases. Always a wonderful experience coming here! Thank you for the wonderful products you produce!
