We happened upon this little place out on the southern side of the Buck. We arrived about 1pm and there was 1 vehicle in the parking lot, but we took our chances, and are so glad we did! It's a cute little place that almost feels like you're sitting in a friend's kitchen area. It boasts a small salad bar and comes with 3 soups. Today was homemade Chicken Corn, and goodness it was good! I opted for a Chicken Cheesesteak with a cup of soup while my husband had the Peterbilt (that might be the name, it's a burger that has an egg on it) with handcut fresh french fries. These were delicious options 🙂 our waitress was friendly and efficient and overall we will absolutely be telling about friends and family about Pop's and we will be returning soon.
My sister, myself and our friend came out for breakfast Sunday morning. The service was excellent, I believe our server was Aubrianna. The lemon blueberry pancakes were delicious and filling. I meant to take a picture before I tried them. My sister had the Big Block I believe. I asked for bacon well done and it was perfect. We also had hot chocolate, it seemed fitting for the day. The atmosphere inside is relaxing and adorable. There is even a little shop in the back that my sister bought several things in. Thank you to our server and the staff at Pops Place for making the start of our day great!
Came by for breakfast on our way to the Poconos. The restaurant was fairly new, decent amount of seating and great antique decor. There’s an antique store attached to the restaurant, but it was closed when we came on a Saturday. Some reviews indicated that food was overpriced, but breakfast pricing was fair. We had the chipped sausage and The Small Block (two eggs, home fries, toast and ham). We also had a side of scrapple and orange juice. The was decent, but not great. The chipped sausage over biscuits was okay. The gravy and biscuits were alright. Tried the scrapple. Not a big fan of the dish. . Not sure if other recipes are better. The egg white was served undercooked but the server took it back and replaced it quickly. Nothing special but a good enough place to stop for a meal since t
Breakfast today Sunday February 1,2026. My eggs were hard and dry with zero and I do mean absolutely zero dipping. The toast was rock hard . Unacceptable. My bacon tasted exactly a week old. Coffee was ok. DISCUSTING. Cook needs to be replaced, this place needs a manager in site. Great location, beautiful building but the food is horrific and pricey. Waitress was great she checked in multiple times and offered a replacement on the eggs which I declined. The right thing to do was to remove the meal from my bill because the plate I was delivered literally was the same plate full when it was check out time. Will not EVER EVER RETURN. OR RECOMMEND
We tried this restaurant this morning for the first time. Arrived a little before breakfast was ending ( 11am) were seated quickly and orders taken. Staff was quick and friendly. Restaurant is decorated beautifully. I could imagine bringing my dad or grandpa here, if I had either. Very quaint and old fashioned vibes. Food was a solid 3/5. Omlette was delicious, but the home fries were just bland. Biscuits and gravy, again, bland. I would come here again and try lunch or dinner. Although they could improve on the flavor of the food, I still would try out another menu item to see how consistent it is.
