Pop's BBQ

I had the 1 meat platter with 2 sides. I chose the 3 baby back ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw with a half sweet and half unsweetened tea. My ribs were good. I didn't particularly care for the brisket meat in the baked beans, however, I really liked the coleslaw. All around, a good place to grab a bite.

Perfect way to end a day at the lake! We got some grouper fingers to start our meal and they were terrific. Similar to halibut but maybe better?? We also got a 3 meat platter, but we dug in too quick to get a picture 🤣. The milkshakes were also delicious. Look to spend 20-30 a person.

Got seated right away, but had to wait quite a while for a server. Thought the sides were quite small in quantity, taste was fine. Ordered chopped brisket and baby back ribs combo plate. Food came out with 3 fairly dried out slices of brisket and an end of ribs. The server took it back and got chopped brisket that was much better. If there is AC in the dining room, it wasn't working. Overall, decent tasting but not overly impressed.

Excellent BBQ with a totally tame biker vibe. They don't sell alcohol directly but Mamaw's Liquors next door sells beer and other adult beverages. I recommend the firecracker shrimp and the brisket sandwich. A friend of mine loves the peanut butter shake.

The food here was surprisingly good. The pumpkin cake was obviously freshly made, with a very delicate outer breading, and the right amount of powdered sugar. The catfish was not overdone like most places. The brisket was tender. There were three BBQ sauce options. The decor was unique
