Poplar Dawg's Eatery

We had the prime rib cooked to perfection with their special sauce. It was delicious. Of course we had the salad and baked potato to go with that. The salad was fresh and so was the potato. This is quickly becoming the go to place for excellent steaks, ribs, and sandwiches on this part of Lake Martin. There were 6 people in our group and everyone’s food was cooked to their liking. The atmosphere is casual and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Love the lunch specials, the sandwiches and steak/chicken night is good too! Jeremy and his crew are the best!!

It's a little better than ok. Would go here again for the the ribeye. The salad could have used more ingredients. But it was a side salad that came with the dinner so can't fault that. All in all.... It was a pleasant experience.

Had the yard bird lunch special was very satisfied with the aio price. Wished the slaw wasn't so sweet.

Granted, it was the Friday for Memorial Day. It was super busy. We arrived at 8:15 pm and were seated within 10-15 minutes. Only two wait staff working the entire restaurant, and those ladies were hustling. Unfortunately, our food didn’t arrive until 10. We were dead last to be served. We would have left, but our waitress was super apologetic about the wait. Potato salad was the only side available once we had our food. Overall, food was mediocre. Hopefully, this was just an off night. They do always seem to have a nice crowd throughout the day.
