Mama T's Place

It may be a small place, but it’s big in atmosphere and even bigger in taste! We had the pleasure of stopping in to try MamaT’s this afternoon and I have to say the pepper jelly burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten! One family member has gluten and corn allergies and MamaT was able to accommodate that with a lettuce wrapped bacon cheeseburger. We had our three nephews with us and they gave MamaT’s six thumbs up! We’ll be back!!

Mama T was so kind and welcoming, and so were the other people in the building. Our food was out pretty quick and it was great. 5 stars.

The reviews were right! This place makes a solid burger. While not flame-grilled (my preferred method), Mama T's can certainly cook. Two (very small) suggestions for improvement: 1. Toast the buns on the grill for a few seconds to harden and warm them up, and 2. Leave the cheese on for a few seconds longer so it melts nicely over the patty. Otherwise, the burgers were excellent, meaty (six ounce pattys, handmade daily), juicy and tasty. We also sampled the bologna sandwich, which was also excellent. Came with lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard between nicely toasted bread. Mama T's is an excellent addition to Dadeville and we expect to return often. My husband and I were blessed to meet Mama T on a Friday night and have the best burgers we've had in a long time. (Maybe ever!) I love the Christian decor and atmosphere coupled with an old-timey sit-and-eat bar. I felt like I was going back in time to a Mom and Pop soda shop, a time of innocence and community closeness. Mama T loves Jesus and she cooks a mean burger!

Someone from this restaurant hacked my google account and left a review somehow. A very good review. This buying and selling of our data is getting out of control…You can see it below…. down the line. I have never eaten here.
