Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Let me start by saying Popeyes is usually amazing. This Popeyes is the closest to where i live. Ive literally drove over an hour just to buy Popeyes food. Usually I love it. Today however it was high school party at the Popeyes. Three or more customers actually left without ordering because of the young girls rude behavior. Had I known our food would have been that bad I would have joined them. We spent 30.00 on what amounted to mayonnaise sandwiches. So much mayo was on it the bread turned soggy and fell apart before we even got it out to the parking lot. It was disgusting. I couldn't even eat it. Add that to the rude behavior from the cashier. I often stop here traveling on my way to Bluefield. The food is typically good. However, service is usually poor and overall dining area dirty. Today I was very specific about my chicken being mild. I saw the lady grab spicy and she insisted it was mild. I was watching the whole time! Anyway, I get the chicken home and of course it is spicy. My dad has a terrible acid reflux attack because of it. I AM NOT HAPPY!

This popeyes is chaos every time but I love it. The staff do their best, or at least most of them do. Takes a bit of time to get your order but I'm okay with that because it's dropped fresh and this is the type of fast food that needs to be eaten fresh out of the fryer. Staff are no-hassle if they forget something in your order or you need an extra sauce, you just ask. The place isn't the cleanest (like the filter on the back of the lemonade mixer needs a cleaning since it faces the public) but it's a gas station popeyes and not a gourmet restaurant. Just look away and enjoy the delicious food.

Manager April did not give me the right order. I order a 5 piece signature bone in chicken box, 2 strawberry biscuits, a shrimp tackle box, a glazed pickle chicken sandwich and a regular chicken sandwich. two of the meals i got frozen lemonades as the drinks. we go in and she says “we don’t have frozen lemonades” then proceeds to give us the wrong food. gave us tenders instead of bone in chicken and gave us pies instead of biscuits. no biscuit in my tackle box either. we go back in and tell her because at this point i would just like what i paid for. she gets an attitude with us and with all the other customers since she was in such a bad mood. i was shocked by her behavior and how she handled the situation. lunch rush is hard at any fast food restaurant, but the job is simple: just give t

Update edit. We ended up never getting our food. We waited in line for 22 mins with only two people ahead of us. Finally take the order. After 15 more mins we asked how much longer and they rudely said 8 more mins. That's 23 min cook time for 2 chicken wraps and chicken dunkers. We get a full blown sit down Mexican food cooked for us in 20 minutes. The manager then refused to give us our food because we told her that amount of time is unacceptable and our kids are starving. She then said she didn't care if our child starved. Also said we should have went to Taco Bell or subway. So not only does your manager have zero management skills she's also sending your customers to other food establishments. Several other customers also then left the long line.
