Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Since they have been built, the food has always been, over cooked or older than dirt. Not a single employee had ever smiled and they all look miserable. No one seems happy to be there and it shows in their product. I honestly love Popeyes it is my favorite chicken... When cooked correctly and some pride put into the work. Dirty old fries on the counter a box just sitting on most of the counter the entire time that no one touched the entire time. The back area honestly looks as sad and depressed as the environment. It breaks my heart. Honestly a reflection of the leadership.

Food tastes great, but the service and cleanliness need serious improvement. The location opens at 9:00 AM, yet when we walked in around 9:45 there was no one at the registers and none of the menu monitors were turned on. Several tables were still dirty with crumbs, and it took about 10 minutes of standing at the counter saying “hello” before anyone came up to help us. One employee even walked out of the restroom and didn’t acknowledge us at all before heading to the back. The bathrooms also need a better cleaning routine. Good food, but the overall experience needs much more attention.

Avoid this location. Ordered 2 chicken "sadwhiches" (their most popular item) at a reasonable time(6pm) but were told we had to wait 5-6min for the chicken "breasts" to fry. What came on one was pretty much fried cartilage. The other might have been a 3-4oz breast. Had these before and the breasts were more like 6+oz. Maybe Popeyes has reduced their quality and size of chicken like the rest of the fast food chains while raising the price. Whatever it takes to keep the shareholders invested i guess but not a good long term strategy for customers.

I used to go here all the time when it first opened and it was so good. Decided to go today just for the memories. Got my chicken and it was all shriveled up and the skin was so hard and dry. The skin was literally separating from the meat and the meat was literally HARD and BROWN. Not like light brown it was like a dark brown. The biscuits are also really salty now? The mac and cheese was clumpy and although it was hot, it was really weird and crumbly. Mind you, I opened my food in the car to check it before hand and I open it up to low quality food.

I placed an order online to pick up as per usual because otherwise, you typically have to wait forever to get food from this location. I've worked restaurants, and I've seen how they have no hustle even during a rush. Today, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no one in the drive-through, so I went through the drive-through to get my order. Everything was fine until I went to eat the wings. I got RANCID wings from this place, and now, I have to drive back there to get a refund. With the lack of empathy/concern, I wouldn't doubt that others are going to be eating those wings as well.
