Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Incredibly old building. Might be the oldest Popeyes period. Absolutely the best best of everything else. CHICKEN was hot, service on point, the apple pies, bloom! And the GM was standing up front making sure everything was flowing.

Food is always great and staff is super helpful. Got wings for the first time because of a promo and was excited. Not excited now. Grossest wings I have ever eaten. They look and smell good but the inside was something a chicken wing should not look like. Weird big dark veins and almost no meat. Please stop killing baby chickens and sell a real wing. Super spooked and not going back.

This Popeyes is pretty much what you'd expect—good fried chicken, but nothing special. The location itself isn’t the most convenient, a bit off the main road, and not easily accessible. Most of the food was fresh, but a couple of my tenders were disappointingly chewy like they’d been sitting around since the night before.

Caveat on this review: I don't eat the food, just order it for the fam. The online ordering interface is fabulous: easy to navigate, doesn't require you to confirm choices multiple times, offers great customizations. And the animations are clever and charming.

Firstly this store is in a weird location! It’s tucked over in a back and you don’t realize it’s a Popeyes at first! There is no drive through, so you have to park and walk in. The parking was very fairly far away from the store. Once inside the store was pretty clean and service was good. The coke was out of syrup though.
