I just had one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at this Popeyes. I placed a mobile order for two meals with popcorn shrimp and blackened tenders. After about a 10-minute wait in the drive-thru, I got to the window, confirmed my order, and was handed a bag with a “Have a nice day.” When I got home, I found two tiny pieces of chicken and a biscuit no shrimp at all. The “boneless wings” I ordered were actually bone-in, which I don’t even eat. There was cocktail sauce in the bag, so clearly shrimp was supposed to be included. I went back to the store and was told they no longer sell shrimp. How was I supposed to know that when the app still lets you order it? If that’s the case, why include cocktail sauce? Instead of apologizing, the cashier asked, “Who gave you the food?” L
So this is from a customer's point of view so I could be way off or not but. I ordered 12 plain bone-in wings and it took about 15 minutes. It also seemed very disorganized and very short-staffed. I saw about 10 people in the Drive-Thru so I went inside and it was full of doordashers All standing around waiting for their orders but nobody was up front. The staff was not unfriendly, they were just seem too busy to be present in the front. There were also several people coming in and coming back from the drive-thru saying orders weren't right. I didn't get this or that or I'm waiting for this one specific thing for the rest of my meal. It just was very chaotic. The chicken was good and it was hot. So I would suggest they hire some more people or just go in there and have some time to spend.
Not really sure if I agree with the way this store is setup. If you look at the pictures I took. You will see touch screen order stations. Only 3 but that's not what I don't agree with. It's the picture of the single cashier. There's no menu. Why?? Who's idea was it to not put a menu up. While I was there a older man came in. He was paying cash so he waited at the register. Finally someone came to take his order. He didn't have a menu to look at. Why is that? He had questions. How much does it cost? What do I get with it? The young man taking his order was clearly aggravated that he had to tell him the menu. After he ordered i spoke with him. We both agreed that it's stupid not to have a menu.
I put ina mobile order for quicker service. BAD CHOICE. the food was stale as ever. The chicken was so hard and crunchy we didn't even get to finish it. The fries we cold and just thrown in the bag. The ONLY fresh or hot item was the biscuits. This Popeyes should be ashamed. Especially since they still had me wait ON COLD FOOD.
First time at this Popeyes. Gorgeous building. Snow on the ground. 20 degrees outside. I open the door and am instantly flash-fried by 95+ degrees of industrial blow-dryer heat. I’m pretty sure the sun lives in the lobby. I place my order and I’m told there’s no chicken ready. That’s fine. I came here to suffer for Popeyes chicken. Two minutes in, the coat is off. Five minutes in, I realize I’ve accidentally walked through a portal to the Congo. The waiting area is a terrarium. A biodome. A slow cooker set to vengeance. Ten minutes pass and my fight-or-flight kicks in. I now understand the emotional journey of the chicken. We are the same. I’ve been sitting under a heat lamp like a gas-station taquito. Twenty minutes in, time stops working. I think I’m on ayahuasca. I see sounds. I hear co
