Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

We got the 9 pieces special with biscuit and mash potatoes, got home to eat, (late lunch), then we stopped, we realized chicken tasted like it’s been refried. We always love Popeyes fried chicken and we always get it from either in Kapolei or Waipahu, Hawaii, but this is the first time our fried chicken wasn’t fresh, even my kids said it tasted old. Employees were great, no doubt. They just have to make sure they serve fresh fried chicken.🍗

Yet again, double the price of the main land. And I had to wait 20 minutes for 5 piece spicy tenders, if I wanted to wait I’ll support a locally owned restaurant. Due to the wait I will not be coming back, multiple other customers went through the drive through and were served (about 10 cars). I had to get out my car to get my food. The workers were very respectful in attempting to get our food out quickly once I went inside. Which it was fresh, spicy, and delicious. Oyeahhh don’t get the sweet tea if your from the south, it ain’t sweet!

Aloha from Popeyes Kapolei. Juicy, crispy fried chicken and lots of side options like mashed potatoes and gravy, red beans and rice, Cajun fries, etc. Love the fried chicken and buttery biscuits. Quick drive-thru, friendly staff, always fresh. A must-visit for bold, Southern eats in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! 😎

I don't often make comments on fast food places but this particular store warrants one. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly! The store was exceptionally clean and each customer was given a greeting upon entering. Oh, and the food was good!

Only open about 15 days, but the food was on par with Popeyes other restaurants. Still had boxes in view from dining area. Service for me was fast, but others with bigger orders was waiting a longer time. I ordered 2 spicey chicken sandwiches and fries. It was delicious and hot. The workers was under stress and a little short fused with some of the customers waiting. I would recommend if you have patience, lol.
