Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Time and time again I get a craving for Popeyes and this location always let's me down. I ordered a 9 piece white meat and 2 large sides and a chicken sandwich on the app. I go pick it up and bring it home and they didnt give me my chicken sandwich, gave me a 12 piece wing instead of 9 piece white meat, and gave me one of the sides wrong. If you want good Popeyes and better service then take the extra 10 min drive to New Albany.

No more chances I stopped going to this Popeyes after many disappointing experiences, but decided to give them another chance tonight and decided to order for pick up thinking that would be a better option when I got to the restaurant my food was ready, which was great when I went back to my car to check the order instead of 12 pieces of chicken. They gave me only eight when I went inside they acted like I was causing a problem by pointing out that they had given me the wrong number of pieces the order was also supposed to be half spicy half regular and she told me that the entire order had been made spicy

I ordered wraps that are advertised as 2 for $5 on the menu. When I got to the window, I noticed I was charged a higher price. I asked the attendant about it and was told that I have to specifically mention the 2 for $5 deal or they will ring it up at the higher price. That makes absolutely no sense. If a deal is clearly listed on the menu, customers should not have to ask for it separately when ordering the exact items included in the promotion. Nowhere on the menu does it state that you must verbally request the deal for it to apply. This felt misleading and frustrating. Pricing should be transparent, and staff should automatically apply advertised deals without customers having to know special wording.

I've eaten here several times over the past 9 months. Its never fast but its always delicious. I always use the app to order. Only once did they forget to put my fries in the bag, but when I said something they gave them to me without trouble.

We hit the drive through at about 1pm Sunday afternoon and the wait wasn't long. The ice melted in the tea before we made it home. The chicken was crispy and delicious. The 3 piece was leg, thigh and wing. All were meaty and flavorful and juicy. The beans and rice tasted okay. I asked hot sauce, which helped. The biscuits were buttery. They advised they didn't have any butter for the biscuits, they were flaky and good. I would have liked ketchup for the fries and some butter and honey for the biscuits. The hubs got a 5 piece an fries, he said next time he would get a 4 piece as the pieces were huge. The worst part of the visit is getting in and out. The construction on Hamilton is a nightmare and I could only go he wrong way coming out, so it is inconvenient. Standard Popeyes Louisiana
