Poor Gary's Pizza

AMAZING pizza—easily in our top three of all time! You can hear the young cooks chatting away while they work, and it adds such a genuine, homey charm to the place. The whole atmosphere reminded us of years ago, when pizza shops felt personal and full of life. Delicious food, great energy—can’t wait to come back!

Good Day! What I love the most about Poor Gary's Pizza, beside their extremely nice chefs, drivers, and all of their staff in general, (think about the coordination involved to even be able to receive both cold and hot foods, in prime condition, for delivery to an area outside of their business--also so thankful for that)!...is their willingness to customize more than just toppings for pizza orders. Today, (one thing) I ordered (was) spaghetti, but I wanted it with green peppers, onions, and lots of tomatoes, meatballs on the side. And I wanted extra sauce, (only because of how generous a serving of perfectly cooked spaghetti noodles which come with), with extra simmered sauce, (less red, more robust), and the included garlic toast extra toasted. Poor Gary’s is a huge staple in our household. With it being the only delivery option out of mooselake, thats a huge selling factor to us but ontop of that the customer service is PHENOMENAL, they are always so upbeat, kind, and welcoming. And ontop of all of that their pizza is delicious, I love the creamy chicken pizza with broccoli, as well as the taco pizza, and house pizza. Their crust is always soft, but not too chewy. The perfect crisp end piece; and the red sauce is the only red pizza sauce I enjoy! 😊 I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I absolutely love coming here and love the food from here. It can be a little bit of a wait if you dont call ahead but even with the wait the food is so fresh and delicious that it makes the little wait completely worth it. The staff is above and beyond! It honestly feels like the food is made with love, which could possibly be why it's so amazing. Me and my father are repeat customers and will continue to be. Thank you for all of your hard work each of you do, it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

I have always loved poor Gary's. When we had our seasonal campsite in the camp ground we would order pizza all the time. Now that we don't camp anymore, it's a real treat to order some pizza. The staff and service are great. The pizza always tastes good. I like to bring new people to try some of the pizza. I will be back down again next month for another bite to eat. I recommend the wild rice pizza and an order of cheese bread.
