My wife and I literally can't wait until we make our way up to Pomodoro. We've dined in and gotten take out now approximately 40+ times in the 3 years since first discovering this gem. The gnocchi Bolognese with 2 meatballs is all I've ever ordered for myself and what I will order for the remainder of the time they remain open. They've added incredible outdoor seating in the last year or so and can accommodate so many more patrons. They are byob and have the most delicious garlic bread. The house pomodoro sauce is to absolutely die for. I always say I'm going to save half my plate to take home but it's impossible for me not to enjoy every last bite.

If you’re looking for a classic Italian spot that does everything right, Pomodoro Italian Kitchen is it. The food is consistently excellent, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. From the pasta to the seafood to the desserts, everything tastes homemade and thoughtfully prepared. Portions are generous without feeling overdone. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff truly makes the experience. Friendly, attentive, and professional without being rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. BYOB is a huge plus, and it just adds to the relaxed, neighborhood feel. Whether it’s a casual night out, a family dinner, or a special occasion, Pomodoro never disappoints. Highly recommend one of those places you keep coming back to.

I’ve been here several times now. Every time the food is amazing, but the service is very poor. Our server tonight was no exception. She was not attentive to us at all, and took the orders of tables that came in after us before coming to us. I wouldn’t normally care that much about this, but those other tables got their food about 15-20 minutes before we did. Additionally, we ordered a pink vodka dish with an added chicken cutlet. The cutlet came on the side with no sauce and when we requested a side of sauce we were informed that she would have to charge us the price of an entree for sauce. We wish we would’ve been informed of this upon ordering. Their payment system is uncomfortable for customers as the server stands over you while you fill out the tip screen. The lighting is also really

My first and last time there. The food tasted mediocre at best, it tasted frozen and not fresh. The dining room was a tent and we were freezing.. so we ended up taking the food to go. BYOB is nice but they charge a fee for opening the bottle for you. Much better Italian restaurants in the area, this place is massively overrated.

This place excels in the tricky combination of staff, space and food. All are first rate. No need to go to Federal Hill., Continues to exceed our expectations. Started with the pear, arugula, walnut, gorgonzola salad. Dressed with a champagne vinaigrette. Bursting with freshness. I had scallops in a wine, lemon, butter sauce. The scallops were firm and delicious and the sauce was spectacular. The symphony of flavors is remarkable My wife ordered the Italian Feast. Sample plate of chicken and eggplant Parmesan, a giant meatball, rigatoni, and their own Pomodoro sauce. And about that sauce. I worked in the Italian community in Providence for over 20 years and sampled a lot of red sauces; Homemade and commercially produced. This is perhaps the best red sauce I have ever tasted. The
