Pollos y Mariscos El Guero

A very busy Sunday for them. We got seated way in the back with lots of flies. The salsa and chips were fine. We had to wait like 30 mins for our meal. My molle enchiladas were fine but wife's bira tacos were soggy mess. Staff said next time to ask for them crispy <roll eyes>. Won't be a next time.

Went there on my birthday for lunch. Ordered birria tacos, the menu said it was three, got two chicken tacos. I was hungry and not the complaining type, so I ate them. Big mistake, a couple hours later I was very sick. I assume food poisoning. Finally better today but it was a miserable 36 hours. The other three people in the party did not have chicken and did not experience this.

Sandra was the best and it’s only her 2nd day! I will most definitely be coming back because of her. Thank you for making my birthday morning. The desert was amazing! She was very sweet, attentive and her personality pleasant! The food was so delicious. The chántela tamarindo súper delicious! Sandra espero que la aprecien porque usted es un ángel!

This place is a hole in the wall, in a good way. The staff are nice enough. The chicken fajitas are fabulous. Chips and salsa are good. We waited a long time for our order and were never offered more chips or salsa. At one point, we had to get up and get our own drink refill. We weren't checked on throughout our first 30 minutes sitting there. We also got cheese enchiladas. They were extremely skimpy. So much so that you couldn't taste the cheese and probably had half a cup of rice and beans on the plate. The sauces were very good. There is a lot of competition in this genre of cuisine, and I'm not sure if we would be back. $6 beers and skimpy entrees along with bad service is a no-go for me.

Camarones a la Cucaracha were 💯 finger liking good. I will definitely come back just for these. So so SOOOOOOO good! The tostada de camarones was good, but no better or worse than any other place. And the Michelada was PERFECT!
