Pollo Tropical

I've been seeing the commercials so I went through drive-thru and ordered a whole chicken value meal. The food was hot but what a disappointment....no beans all liquid soup, rice barely serves 2ppl and the chicken...well overcooked, dry and short a thigh. Oh and kicker..the Yuccas, undercooked. Keep going! Come on Pollo! What happened?

I took a long hiatus from pollo but recently started back and I must admit they have upgraded both food and service big time..

Someone is going to be really disappointed when they receive my order of 1 item, instead of the multiple items I ended up receiving of theirs. This was a first for me, the bag and receipt are correct, but the food inside is completely someone else's food. Hard to trust a restaurant that can't get matching their food to the order correctly.

For years we have eaten at many different Pollo Tropicals . This one is the best one by far . The food is always good. Blk beans are spectacular. The chicken always seasoned & grilled just right . The store is always super clean But the best is the staff which are awesome . There’s a young man named Erick who’s a Rock star. Great positive service with a smile and a great attitude. Today when took our order we noticed he was being congratulated for his Birthday by co workers . Even on his Birthday he’s working with an energy & great service that’s notable. Kudos to Erick & a super Birthday. He’s one of the biggest reasons why we keep coming back 🎉🎉🎉

I'm not used to excellent service at Pollo Tropical locations, where for some reason Cubans only say "Hi" (not always). However, I happened to be at this one today, and everything was different. The two people who served me today at the Drive Thru (the cashier and the server) said: “Hello, how are you?” “How is your day going?” I hope you enjoy your food!” I took a long time to respond because I was taken aback, I didn't know what to say, I wasn't prepared to answer such kind questions. So my food was indeed the most delicious tonight. Thank you!
