The food was amazing, staff was really nice and prices are reasonable! First time but definitely coming back!
The place wasn't elegant but it was clean, the service was ok, the food was very good. From the ceviche to the picarones. On the negative side, their air conditioning was not working 😕, so it was a little warm.
My family and I had dinner here this evening based on a recommendation from a friend. This restaurant was absolutely delicious and our server, Karina, was AWESOME. She took the time to explain everything on the menu and made several suggestions, that worked out very well for us. She let me practice my Spanish too, which was a bonus. Food was great. Recommend their pollo a la brasa (grilled chicken). It was delicious and seems to be their specialty. They had a house made dressing on the salad, which was probably the best dressing we’ve had in years. My daughter also had the spinach pasta, which was delicious as well. The portions for everything were large and the service was GREAT. Authentic Peruvian atmosphere, not fancy, but very authentic and comfortable. Place is also bigge
Delicious!! The pollo a la brasa did not disappoint. As a Peruvian living in Atlanta I’m so happy to have found this spot.
I’m Peruvian, born and raised. From there I moved to Miami, which arguably has the best Peruvian food outside of Peru. I know when a place is going to be solid just from the pictures alone. Screw the reviews. I have lived in Atlanta for the last 3.5 years and couldn’t find a restaurant that tasted remotely like home. For the first time since moving to atlanta I found my Pollería de vecindario. We ordered half a pollo with fries and salad and a jalea mixta (fried seafood). We wanted to order the picarones too but it was a big portion and with a heavy heart, we left without them… this time 👀. We drove 25 minutes from East Atlanta (albeit with no traffic) each way and plan to do so again regularly. I’m a little confused as to the bad reviews for service. Karina, our server, was kind, friend
