4 Pc Fried Chicken Meal $21.11 Pros: Drive-thur Employee's were super nice and helpful. Chicken was very good. Little salty. But good. Cons: Rice portion was very small for $21 Yucas Fries Small portion, maybe 8 pieces Yucas decent but definitely need a sauce to drip. No Drink included for $21.11 meal No napkins or utensils included with a Drive-thru order.
They just opened so the wait was pretty long. It was good. Chicken was flavorful and juicy, i appreciate the coating was not too thick or like extra fried....but the flavor was there. My favorite was the thigh. Shoe string fries were good, nice seasoning (not just salt). The yuca fries were fine. Not the best but not the worst. The beans were the worst part...just plain and basic. They didn't have chicken nuggets which is what I wanted BUT they gave me 3 pieces of chicken instead and 2 $5 off coupons. I felt that was a reasonable compensation. All in all, I'd come back.
⭐☆☆☆☆ If disappointment had a flavor, it would be Pollo Campanero. Ordered 8 pieces half fried / half roasted, but apparently “reading the order” is optional because I got ALL fried. And not good fried either—dry, salty, and sad. The empanada tasted like it had been waiting three days for someone to eat it, the yuca fries could double as chalk sticks, and the chicken burger… let’s just say it looked like it gave up on life halfway through being made. Save your money. I wish I could give zero stars.
$14 for 2 piece meal and empanada. Meal doesn't include a drink. Got roasted dark chicken. It was good but nothing special. The pieces were kinda small so not a lot of meat there. For the side I got beans. I barely got any, most of the container was filled with liquid/broth. The empanada was good but it look kind of deflated. Again not a lot of value there. Probably try this chain again but maybe another location.
Always fresh? The prices for the chicken are definitely on the high side but normally the chicken is pretty good. Today’s experience at this new location was extremely disappointing. I went around 12pm on a Sunday and ordered the eight-piece fried chicken, only. The chicken was burnt, dry, and tasted like it was from the day before. The oil also had an old, unpleasant taste. Highly disappointed so I won’t be coming back to this location.
