Poland Library

I've been meaning to visit this beautiful library for over twenty years while living in the area. Now that I work at Decorah Public Library, in Decorah, Iowa, I finally stopped by while visiting family. Wow what a gorgeous building. There's so much natural light. It's a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything is well-organized, with a fun little kids section. Plenty of seating and public computers. My limited staff interactions were pleasant. I look forward to visiting again.

I recently visited Poland Library in Ohio during the fall, and it was a truly delightful experience. The newly remodeled rooms were a highlight of my visit; they are not only modern and comfortable but also very inviting, perfect for settling in with a good book surrounded by the warm hues of fall. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in these updated spaces, where the charm of a traditional library meets sleek, modern amenities. The renovations clearly focused on improving user comfort and experience. Whether you're there for research, leisurely reading, or attending one of their community events, Poland Library in the fall is wonderfully inviting. The friendly staff and the serene atmosphere made my visit memorable, marking it as an ideal spot for some peaceful autumn reading.

There is a fabulous vegan restaurant inside the library, The Village Pharmacy. We love coming here, food is always fresh and different items on the menu daily. Have never been disappointed. Currently open Thursday through Saturday.

Poland Library still very nice. Despite the wearing of the Face Masks..they have wipes and hand sanitizer at a desk for everyone to use and wipe down their computer before and after use
