This place is simply OFF THE CHARTS!! The food and service is exceptional! The staff is always so friendly and never fails to have a smile on their face!! My girlfriend and I absolutely love going to this place! I myself don’t care too much for poke, but their grilled chicken poke bowl is off the charts! And if you still don’t want poke, their crab Rangoon’s are to die for!! Shoot, we drove an hour over here today in a whim just to have some!! 100/10 recommend this place!!

My favorite restaurant in Evansville! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I have lived cross country and this is always my first stop when I would come home! I’ve had poke in Hawaii and the topping selection at most places was limited compared to Poke River! They have so many topping options and most do not cost extra. Everything is very reasonably priced! I do a build your own bowl and add spicy salmon & ahi tuna and it is always fresh and delicious! My boyfriend raves about their crab rangoons! They also have delicious bubble tea options! My favorite is coconut flavor, less sweet, and tapioca pearls. It’s awesome they let you pick sweetness levels! The staff are so friendly! The ingredients are so fresh & delicious. This family owned business is always so kind & makes you feel welcome. Since we discovered this gem, my husband and I have gone at least once a week for these poke bowls. Very reasonably priced for all the fresh ingredients!

The ingredients were pretty lovely and tasted fresh. I do feel like the sauce was a bit too sweet for me though. The bowls were around 15-17$ for one which is a bit expensive considering that other places nearby were only charging around 12-13$. Furthermore, the portion is only average so I feel like the food is a bit more on the expensive side. Even though the food was enjoyable, it was a bit deceiving that some items were labelled as crab but it ended up being crab sticks only. I love the idea of being able to get bubble tea while buying the food, I find that a great idea but the bubble tea itself wasn't great. It was definitely too sweet and felt like drinking a powdered drink too much for me. Plus, there were so little popping bubbles that were served with the drink.
