Poe's Tavern

Made a stop for lunch before hitting the beach. Lots of parking, happy, energetic staff, ice cold draft beer! We sat outside on the deck, the Mahi tacos were delicious, and the Rue burger was incredible! Egg on a burger on fries covered in chili and queso? Sooo good! 5 stars all around!!

Great restaurant with awesome burgers! Service was also top notch. Soup of the day was bbq chicken, very unique and tasted great. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come here again.

Had a great experience at Poe's Tavern. The food was fresh, flavorful and came out just right. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a good meal. Kelsey was our waitress and she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. She really made the visit even better. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited Poe’s recently; it was our second time eating there. On this visit, I had the black cat burger and he had the mahi tacos. It was delicious! We both enjoyed the drinks menu, too. Natalie did a wonderful job taking care of us during our meal. We have enjoyed Poe’s when we visit Wilmington!

Went to poes tavern and I was shocked by how great the service was even when they were busy! Ian was great very attentive and kind. Food was phenomenal my wife had better tuna here than an actual seafood restaurant. Their salads and burgers are great and very filling. These guys were great and I highly recommend coming for lunch or dinner!
