While visiting family in the area we stop by Plaza. It was a nice atmosphere for an afternoon lunch. The employees give that neighborhood feel to all the regulars. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our massive margs and some fresh guac. In addition I ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas. Needless to say I had more than enough and the lunch easily became my dinner/ late night snack. Overall Plaza Azteca is a cool local spot, I ended up here twice on that visit. Just A Note: If you decide to go for the massive marg make sure you have a designated driver.

My friend and I went last week and I loved it! I ordered the seafood Molcajete and the Spinach Cheese Dip special, both delicious! Vanessa served us, she was very friendly and attentive. We didn't even have to ask for drink refills because she made sure our drinks were always full. You rocked, Vanessa! I will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to stop in around 6 pm on Valentines day. They were very busy, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes or so. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I was very happy to see that they have a vegan/vegetarian section on the menu. I ordered the vegan Burrito and it was good! The tofu could have used some seasoning, but it was nothing a bit of salt couldn't fix. The food took a bit to come out, and before taking a bite I realized there was a hair sitting in the cheese on top of my Burrito. The waitress was very apoplectic and I received my new plate about 5 minutes later with no issues. The drinks are pretty big and the lemonade was good. The people are amazing. All of the workers have great customer service. I don’t like the manager by the name of Juan. He really isn’t a good fit for this establishment. Before him Ricardo changed the way the place ran and it took him some time to get to know the locals but he made relationships by great food new ideas and getting to know the staff. Juan on the other talked them into lesser portions and sneaking around. Juan smiles but is dishonest and very disrespectful to the staff who has been serving the same people for years. When you do that it changes the atmosphere. Customers do not mind paying for great food and amazing drinks. You cannot make your staff feel as though they are stealing when they aren’t. In my opinion the owners need to rethink having Juan on staff and trust that
