Manuela makes the most delicious mofongo! It really shines! This dish also comes with rice but I can't eat rice. It was all seasoned perfectly. If mofongo is what you want, make sure to call ahead or visit their Facebook page to check the menu before you go. It changes daily. This place is worth the drive! ¡Qué delicioso!
In a word, FANTASTIC!! Jacqueline serves up the most authentic and delicious Puerto Rican food between here and San Juan. My bride amd I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Stew Mofongo, Beef and Chicken Empanadas, and Guava Empanada. Puerto Rican Café is a must visit. "Sigh" - If only there was one on the Eastern Shore!
Food is always amazing and the service is great! I usually get the yuca and chicken empanada, but this time I tried the ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Large portion at a reasonable price.
I was at work and me and coworker ordered dinner through DoorDash. My first time experiencing Puerto Rican cuisine. I got the pork with rice and the plantains. The portions were huge for very fair price. And the food was so delicious. I am so grateful that I live in this beautiful country and have the option to try so many varieties of amazing delicacies from all these different places. We are so blessed. Thank you for making me a delicious plate.
I’ve been craving Puerto Rican food for a while, so we took a drive for about an hour, and it was totally worth it! The food was fresh and super tasty. We tried the pizza, carne empanadillas, the Cuban sandwich, and the chef's special, which had arroz con gandules, pernil, and tostones. I thought it was really cool that they switch up the chef's special every day. Overall, it was a good place. We will come back!
