Customer Reviews
Was here yesterday with a bus group. Fantastic food, especially the smoked turkey and fried chicken. Both were to die for. Mashed potatoes with gravy n green beans n cranberry sauce. Delicious, lip-smacking good! Service was good too! Need to come back here by myself n do more stuff like buggy rides etc
Our group arrived by bus from Maryland for lunch before going to the “ Sight and Sound” show! We were all seated and feasted family style! The staff was pleasant. The restaurant reminded me visually inside with a Cracker Barrel facade! Not only did we eat good food (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, egg pasta, green string beans, meat loaf, sliced roast beef, Cole slaw, rolls and butter, lemonade, unsweetened tea, water, and a choice of two desserts! Yum! All fresh food! No processed foods!
Our dining experience was amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was superb—very friendly and helpful staff. It was truly an exceptional experience, and all 50 people in our group enjoyed it. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area!
The dining experience is designed for groups of 20 or more and requires advance reservations. Guests are seated at long communal tables and served a variety of Pennsylvania Dutch dishes, including fried chicken, baked ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, brown buttered noodles, and green beans. Meals begin with rolls and coleslaw and conclude with two in-house-made desserts. The restaurant operates on a fixed menu basis, offering an “Amish Family-Style Menu” from January to October and a “Holiday Feast Menu” in November and December. Beverages such as iced tea, lemonade, water, coffee, and hot tea are included. For those not part of a large group, the adjacent Smokehouse BBQ & Brews offers a more casual dining option with a menu featuring smoked meats, local craft beers, and
This was my families go to restaurant , we did dine in mostly, sometimes join a table for family style. Since Covid we were told they only take bus tours. We can’t do dine in or join a group anymore and directed to a BBQ place next door that has nothing of the meals we always enjoyed. We miss the food, atmosphere and service, it was always excellent. We drove from over an hour away to eat here and take go meals so we have leftovers each time. Please bring back dine in menu!
