Our first experience ordering nut, poppyseed and apricot nut rolls from PJs. Our family is spread out throughout 5 States, and gathered back in the Burgh this year. My oldest son travels to Croatia, and other Slavic countries multiple times per year. He says it is the best nutroll he has ever tasted! We will be coming back for more! The owner, Pam took my phone order two weeks ahead. She is friendly and a joy to work with. When I entered to pick up my order, Pam greeted me as if we were long lost friends. Love! Love! Love! Today was my first day trying PJs. My fiancé and I always said we need to get the food. But we work crazy hours so we miss it when she’s open sometimes. Well today was the day and I’m so happy I got to go there and try the food. Pizza was absolutely amazing! Italian hoagie amazing too! I have a sweet tooth and it was hard to just pick one thing to try! Get it all! You won’t be disappointed! The ladies at the counter were amazing and friendly too. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in. Such a friendly and clean atmosphere. Then I spoke to PJ herself and she was the most laid back lady I think I have ever met. Great people and fantastic food! Daily specials are amazing, as was this tuna sandwich. They also threw in a big piece of watermelon to help beat the heat.

We love PJs. The staff are friendly and food very good. It’s like home cooked meals that mom would have made. Not fancy food, but simple delicious food made with love. Their goodies like cookies, brownies, turnovers are also amazing. I recently had a total knee replacement so I would not be cooking for a while. We purchased a bunch of their frozen entrees like hot sausage, chicken Parmesan, meatloaf, etc. Just add a side like a microwave-in-bag veggie or salad and roll and my husband is putting together nice meals for us as I recover.
